He does lose just as badly as the power margin would be the same between him and after the zenkai he should have gotten from the senzu bean in movie 8. One of the reasons the haxxed move worked, also an early indicator of the major power boost their rivalry gives them. Goku plus vegeta>>>everyones elses power in the movie for that reason, even the combined power ups of the other zfighters, who imo are actually weaker than their anime selves.

Goku loses this battle, unless he turns MSSJ or the thread creator changes it to MSSJ. ssj and mssj are the same form. mssj is just when the saiyan gets used to the form, so it doesn't stress them out any more. there are only 3 differences between an mssj and a regular ssj: 1. no energy drain. ssj didn't have a major energy drain to begin with, but mssj eliminates it completely 2. no stress: the ssj form causes the saiyan to become restless, and heightens aggression. mssj does not cause this, because the saiyan has mentally adapted to the form. 3. can suppress power. regular ssj has to stay at or near full power at all times, or revert to base. mssj can use any portion of their power, even less than their base power, and still maintain the form. other than those 3 differences, ssj and mssj are exactly the same. goku would have the exact same fight on his hands against broly. he'd still get stomped.
